Gymnastics has many levels.
You start at level 1: the basics. In level 1, you learn skills like cartwheels, forward rolls, and bridges. These skills will be used through the rest of your gymnastics life.
Then comes level 2: skills aquired. In level 2, you perfect the skills you gained from level 1 and you aquire new skills such as pull overs on bars, cartwheel on beam, back bends, backbend kick-overs, and round-offs on floor.
Of course, next is level 3: the base. Level 3 is where you start to learn the skills that are a part of other, higher level, skills.
